The Future Website Will Be Assembled Live for Every Visitor: Adobe Demos Real-Time Personalized Pages by Intent
Live demo: search "camping," and a coffee-maker site's copy, products, and recommendations all shift to an outdoor theme. The tech works — it just hasn't shipped to client sites at scale yet.
The Big Picture
- Adobe Principal Scientist Carlos Sanchez demoed the "agentic site" concept at the AI Engineer World's Fair (AIEWF): a system that uses AI to assemble a page tailored to each visitor in real time, based on their browsing behavior and search intent.
- Case one: a coffee-maker site — after a visitor searched "camping," the copy, product order, and recommendations were all reorganized around an "outdoor coffee brewing" theme. Case two: an open-ended query like "Europe AI conferences" can also generate a dedicated page directly.
- The system doesn't let AI invent pages out of thin air — it retrieves material from the business's existing content library and assembles from that. Sanchez says this is how they keep generation quality under control.
- Adobe's self-imposed technical bar: page generation latency under 1–2 seconds, with current inference cost around 1–2 cents per page, expected to keep falling (both figures are Adobe's own estimates).
- None of this has shipped at scale to client production sites yet. Adobe is currently demoing the concept to clients and looking for partners willing to experiment. Even Sanchez himself isn't sure it'll become mainstream practice.

Figures like "1–2 second latency" and "1–2 cents per page" are Adobe's own estimates, not independently verified. The rest of this piece states them as fact without repeating that caveat each time.
1The Site Becomes Whoever You Are
One Site, Shape-Shifting to Whoever You Are
At the AI Engineer World's Fair (AIEWF) in San Francisco, Adobe Principal Scientist Carlos Sanchez demoed something the company is exploring, called an "agentic site" — a web format that assembles a page in real time based on each individual visitor's intent.
For the past twenty years, "personalization" on the web has basically meant picking one of a few preset versions to show you. What Sanchez demoed is a page assembled on the spot, the moment you open it, built for you and only you.
◆What's worth paying attention to: this upgrades site personalization from "choosing among a few presets" to "the AI retrieves and assembles the entire page in real time for a single visitor" — with generation latency held under 1–2 seconds and inference cost down to 1–2 cents per page. Sanchez says many people assume real-time page generation is still a future thing. "No — this isn't the future. It's possible right now."

Think of it this way · What is an agentic site
It's like a sales assistant with a great memory and fast hands. Instead of printing a handful of brochures in advance for you to pick from, it prints a version — just for you — the moment you ask your question. Adobe calls this idea "audience of one": the page is tailored to a single person, not sorted into buckets like "women aged 25–34" and served a template.
